Rockingham Castle Food & Drink Fair – 18th & 19th July 2020
Rockingham Castle will host its first ever Food & Drink Fair on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, 11am-4pm – the county’s only indoor event of its kind.
Promising to be a fantastic experience come rain or shine, the Fair will include a selection of local produce in the Castle’s historic rooms and courtyard – all made by over 20 independent manufacturers and suppliers from Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Among the well-known, reputable names and brands are Brockleby’s Pies, Phipps Albion Bar and Fotheringhay Gin (made by Warner’s), Friars Farm, Whittlebury Bakery and many more (full list of exhibitors below). Stalls will be throughout the Castle in the Servants Hall, Old Kitchen, Great Hall, Panel Room and Long Gallery (up a carpeted flight of stairs.)
There will also be children’s activities on the Terrace Lawn, provided by Homestart, with all proceeds going to the local charity.
Entry prices are: adults £4 pre-booked tickets or £5 on the gate (standard Castle entry is usually £12). Children under 16s are FREE (usually £7.50).
Confirmed exhibitors include: Phipps Albion Bar, Friars Farm, Hoppy Family Brewery, Whittlebury Bakery, Neneview Dairy, Hamm Tun Fine Foods, The Little Smokehouse, Nature’s Fayre, Rutland Fudge, Vicky’s Kitchen, Stonyfield Wine, Brockleby’s Pies, Fleur Fields, Rutland Gourmet, Ganders Goat, Lutton Farm, Mildred & Jones, Meah’s Curry Sauces, Farmer Lou, Fotheringhay Gin, Well Roasted Coffee, The Loving Chef, Wharf Distillery, The Marshmallow Kitchen, The Stuffed Pig Co, Dutch Delights and Shires Country Kitchen.
Due to the delicate nature of the contents in the Castle and the narrow passageways, we regret we are unable to allow pushchairs inside of the Castle. Please speak to a member of staff at the Front Desk who will advise where they can be left.
