Rockingham Castle COVID-19 update: Monday 19th July 2021

With restrictions being lifted across England from today, everyone here at Rockingham Castle is looking forward to gradually welcoming more visitors back to the estate for our open days and events. However, the safety of our staff and visitors is still our priority at this stage.

– We’d like to politely remind all visitors to Rockingham Castle that face coverings will still be required when entering the Castle, the Gift Shop and other indoor facilities on the estate, our customer-facing staff will also continue to wear face coverings too.

– Protective screens and hand sanitiser stations will also remain in place throughout the Castle and Grounds.

– We’ll be continuing to use our pre-book ticket system and timed entry into the Castle. We will be monitoring this going forward and we hope to gradually increase the number of visitors allowed on each tour in the near future, once we feel it is safe to do so.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our visitors for following these measures, and we look forward to welcoming you to Rockingham Castle soon!
