Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update – 12th June 2020

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update – 12th June 2020

We are delighted to announce, that following updated government advice, we are now able to open our gardens and grounds to visitors. Our first open day will be Tuesday 23rd June.

We will be opening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am – 4:30pm.  All tickets must be pre-booked in advance using our online ticketing system.  This is to enable us to safely manage the visitor numbers on site with a limited number of tickets available on each open day.  We regret that tickets will not be available to purchase on arrival.

For more information or to book tickets please visit our ‘Opening Times and Tickets Page’  here

In line with current advice we regret that St Leonards Church, the Dungeon and Audio Visual room,  Salvins Tower and Castle itself still remain closed.

We have sadly had to make the decision to cancel or postpone a number of other events. For the latest updates, please keep an eye on our Events Page. The decision to cancel events and postpone the Castle opening has not been made lightly but we feel this is the best way to protect our staff and visitors.

We would like to reassure you that the health and wellbeing of our staff and visitors is our priority and we have been working hard to ensure that Rockingham is ‘Covid-19 secure’.  We have following the governments ‘5 Steps to working safely’ which can be found here.

We very much appreciate your continued support during this period. Please keep an eye on our website for further updates.
